Event Submissions

If your organization/program does not have an OrgSync portal, you may submit your event to be included in the Mizzou Life calendar with this form. Events submissions should provide/support the Mizzou Life content strategy. Please read the information below carefully prior to submitting your event.

Event Requirements

  • Events must be submitted at least one week in advance to get approved
  • Events must be date- and time-specific
  • Events must be open and free or low cost ($5 or less) to all Mizzou students and of general interest
  • Events must be student-centered and include an unstructured social component
  • Events must be ADA accessible (i.e., if you cannot provide closed captions upon request or if your event is in a building without an elevator, it will not be accepted)
  • Only the first day of application periods can be made into an event

The Following are Not Allowed:

  • Events hosted by recognized student organizations or non-MU entities. There are separate calendars for student organizations and campus events
  • No meetings, recurring events or consultations
  • Commercial solicitation on behalf of outside entities will not be included
  • Events advertising alcohol, drugs, tobacco and any illegal activities will not be included

  • Submission does NOT guarantee that an event will be approved
  • We reserve the rights to approve, reject and make special considerations for any events submitted
