Spring Break is a time to take a breather from the daily grind of the semester. Whether you’re taking a road trip, traveling abroad, or taking a staycation, the Office of Health Promotion wants you to be safe and prepared. From March 2 - March 6, we’ll be providing you with information and resources to stay safe and healthy.

Monday, March 2

  • Safer Spring Break Table
  • 1 pm - 4 pm
  • Library
  • Learn more about the benefits of sunscreen! We will be giving away sunscreen, SPF lip balm, and sunglasses. We will also be providing tips on how to protect yourself while having fun under the sun.

Tuesday, March 3

  • Duck Pond
  • 11 am - 1 pm
  • Student Center Lobby
  • Learn more about drinking responsibly and healthy hydration!

Wednesday, March 4

  • Safer Vacation/Staycation Table
  • 10 am - 3pm
  • Student Center Lobby
  • Whether you’re traveling far or staying local this spring break, we have resources and information to help you stay safe.

Thursday, March 5

  • Safer Spring Break Outreach
  • 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
  • Around Campus
  • Look for us around campus! We will be giving away travel size first aid kits. Can’t find us, no worries. Visit us at the Drop In Center.

Friday, March 6

  • Alcohol Awareness Wheel
  • 12 pm - 1:30 pm
  • Student Center Lobby
  • Come and spin the wheel to learn more about the effects of alcohol on the body and tips for staying safe!
