Take Back the Night is a protest march bringing awareness to the issue of sexual assault. At the end, people will be able to share stories and give words of support or encouragement. The purpose of this event is to give victims of sexual assault a voice.

Keynote Address: Joshua Daniel Phillips

In the summer of 2008, Joshua Daniel Phillips hiked 1,800 miles from Miami to Boston to raise awareness about sexual violence, stopping to speak at schools, churches, town halls--anywhere with an audience.Because he situates sexual violence as a cultural issue, his education philosophy is that we must be actively against sexual violence instead of passively for it.  Joshua Daniel Phillips will be speaking at Stetson University to raise awareness about sexual assault and how our communities...
