RISD LEADS -Leading in Uncertain Territory
Featuring: Greg Nemes, Co-Founder, Work-Shop Design Studio
Design education and training teaches us to work in the Uncertain –- to see and question what’s around us, to embrace open-ended thought, and envision what might be possible. This familiarity with the Uncertainty is a valuable leadership tool, if properly wielded. In this interactive workshop, Greg will share experiences leading strange new initiatives, and we will explore ways to find clarity and common ground in unstable and turbulent situations. Hint: it’s all about collaboration and communication! Participants will come away with insight into their own working and leading styles, and tactics to collaborate and build consensus in Uncertain conditions.
Fields and Fundamentals: Art + Design, Entrepreneurial, Operational
