Student Activities Council
The Student Activities Council (SAC) is one of the largest student organizations that host free and fun events on campus.
SAC is responsible for annual events such as Welcome Back Blast, Homecoming Week, and Spring Fling.
Your Student Activities Council, hosts numerous other events such as comedy shows, fall festivals, lectures, and diversity events all throughout the semester. Check out the 'Photos' tab, under 'More' for flyers and promotion. The 'Events' page will give you the dates.
Typically, our events are held within the Campus Center or Love Valley. Feel free to check out the 'Events' tab to learn the details.
If you are someone who plans programming events/ideas in your head, please join our crew! We are always taking general members.
Fill out a committee interest form in the Forms section, to be included in that committee's contacts! You may also sign up to be on more than one committee, if desired.

The Student Activities Council is a student organization whose purpose is to provide co-curricular activities for the West Georgia community. Our mission is to provide a number of diverse cultural, recreational, social, educational, and entertainment programs, and is implemented through seven program committees. These committees are: Public Relations, University Traditions, Diversity, Special Events, Entertainment, Novelties and Spirit. The President and the Vice President of Recruitment create the "Executive Board."
Together, the Directors and their committee members are responsible for planning and producing a variety of events. SAC is funded by the students of West Georgia through a portion of their activities fee that is allocated to us.
If you have any questions or comments regarding SAC, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are always looking for new faces and ideas. Interest forms are available at the Center for Student Involvement, Room 304 of the Campus Center, and the SAC Office, Room 319 of the Campus Center.
