Welcome to the K-State Bakery Science Club OrgSync page! Each K-State student (regardless of major) is welcome to join.
Our weekly meetings are on Tuesdays from 5:00-8:00 PM in 110 Shellenberger Hall, but feel free to come and go. Our sales are Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 PM in the first floor hallway of Shellenberger. Members are welcome to help us bake bread Wednesday morning before the sale!
Every week we have a selection of cookies as well as our freshly-baked French bread!
The Bakery Science Club is the organizational club of the Bakery Science and Management Program at Kansas State University; however, students of all majors are welcome to join! Every Tuesday night the members meet in the Shellenberger Hall Bake Lab from 4-7 pm (SH 110) where scaling, mixing, baking and packaging occurs for varieties of cookies and bread products. The baked goods are then sold every Wednesday from 3-5 pm in the first floor hallway of Shellenberger Hall. All funds generated from bake sales go toward funding the club's annual trip to the American Society of Baking Conference in Chicago, IL. The club also takes special orders for organizations across the K-State campus and Manhattan community.
