Welcome to the K-State Bakery Science Club OrgSync page! Each K-State student (regardless of major) is welcome to join.
Our weekly meetings are on Tuesdays from 4:00-8:00 PM in 110 Shellenberger Hall, but feel free to come and go. Our sales are Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 PM in the first floor hallway of Shellenberger or outside if the weather is nice. Members are welcome to help us bake bread Wednesday morning before the sale!
Every week we have a selection of cookies as well as our freshly-baked French bread!
The Bakery Science Club is the organizational club of the Bakery Science and Management Program at Kansas State University; however, students of all majors are welcome to join! Every Tuesday night the members meet in the Shellenberger Hall Bake Lab (SH 110) from 4-7 pm to bake and package different varieties of cookies and bread products. The baked goods are then sold every Wednesday from 3-5 pm in the first floor hallway of Shellenberger Hall. The club also takes special orders for organizations across the K-State campus and Manhattan community. All funds generated from bake sales go toward funding an annual trip to a professional conference and other club activities.
Other club activities include football parking, raking leaves at the Manhattan Optimist's Baseball Field, baking and donating bread to the Manhattan Optimist's Spaghetti Dinner and participating in a huge bake sale in Kansas City for "No Kid Hungry".
