The News Hub is Columbus State's centralized information "Hub" promoting student engagement at Columbus State. Each week, students can learn about featured activities on campus through the campus’ integrative tool, The Columbus State Hub (also known as OrgSync) which helps students explore resources and co-curricular activities. Students don’t just have to opportunity to attend college, but the chance to experience success through involvement.

What has been the biggest struggle you’ve faced as an international student?
“…after completing high school in Punjab, India I came to the States and had to re-complete high school courses in an ESL Program. As an international student, getting past the language barrier has been my biggest struggle. ”- Khushdeep K.

International Student Association
The International Student Association (ISA) provides out-of-classroom learning experiences through field trips, cultural events, and various other social events for international students on campus. ISA can give you a chance to meet other students from countries all over the world as well as provide you with a lot of fun at some of the best parties and activities on campus. Aerobic Fitness in the Open Gym!
Regular aerobic exercise can bring remarkable changes not just to your body, your metabolism, and your heart, but also to your spirits, reports the February 2011 issue of Harvard Men’s Health Watch. Federal Work Study II-Volunteer Services Student Assistant (Faith Mission)
Get paid to serve the community!
Since 1966, Faith Mission has served the homeless community by providing shelter, food and clothing all while helping individuals gain access to longer term solutions such as housing, employment assistance, medical, dental and vision care, counseling and support groups.
- Performs general office duties such as data entry and returning phone calls and e-mails.
- Assists with donation pick-ups, drop-offs, and intake.
- Assists in organizing the donation room to maintain an efficient system for the arrival and departure of donations.
- Creates "Move-Out Boxes" comprised of donated items that are given to residents that are moving out of the shelter and into a new home.

Columbus State Community College is dedicated to actively engaging International students. One way that CSCC does this is by having International Student Advisor Chats. International Advising: Amy Bullock
Amy Bullock in the Global Diversity and Inclusion Center has a lot of experience with helping international students as an International Enrollment advisor. Currently, Bullock serves as the Student and Exchange Visitors Information System Principal Designated School Official. Bullock can assist international students with academic, financial and personal matters, as well as, help with work authorization, and adjustment to U.S. society and education.
Amy is herself a Columbus State graduate, so international students can be sure that she can relate to their experience.
