The International Student Council (ISC), is a representative organization of the international student community of the University of Utah. The ISC 's main objective is to help international students to adjust to their new environment as well as promote international understanding and cooperation, enable to meet more people and help students to make more friends, both international and residential.
The International Student Council is made up of both international and domestic students who are interested both in our international community, affairs, and culture. As a group, we connect international students with: opportunities to immerse themselves in University of Utah culture and achieve their academic and extracurricular goals; other international and domestic students with similar interests; and an environment that is comfortable, diverse, and interested in everyone's story.
We have very casual weekly meetings and plan larger, more formal events throughout the year that reflect the goals of the ISC. Students can be as involved or not as they like and are always welcome to contact board members, and other members of the ISC for advice relating to their time spent here at the U.
