The focal point of the Student Programming Board activities and events are to enrich and contribute to a more intensified campus life experience. The Student Programming Board is the community center for all members of the University family. The Student Programming Board represents a well-rounded plan for community life of St. John’s University.
Our mission is to encourage self-directed activity giving maximum opportunity for self-realization and for growth in individual social competency and group effectiveness. Our goal as a programming board is to guide in the development of the complete person both intellectually and socially. Through our various committees and members, SPB provides social and recreational programs, directed at making free time activity a cooperative factor with studies and education.

If your organization has selective membership, please describe the selection process.
The Student Programming Board works primarily off of E-Board members and small committee's. Students who are interested in joining SPB should come to our office in DAC 113 or come to our General Body Meetings to help plan and promote our events.
The E-board will then ask you to help out at certain events and we will see your dedication and hopefully you can run for a position for the following year.
