Volunteers Wanted for UCrew!
May 14, 2019 by Ryan Rhodes
Do you remember your first day at college? The nerves, the excitement, the energy? Here at the University of Utah, many of our students’ first day will be moving onto campus. In order to make that day the very best experience possible and kick their year off right, we need your help by signing up as a UCrew volunteer! As a volunteer, you are essential to the move-in process as you help students get situated in their home away from home. UCrew tasks include unloading cars, moving items, directing traffic, providing refreshments, and serving as a positive representative of the U.
Move-in Day is August 15, 2019
UCrew shifts are:
- 8 to 11 a.m.
- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- 2 to 5 p.m.
Who can join the Fall 2019 UCrew?
- If you are a housing resident, you will be able to move-in early (with no additional cost) on August 14th. UCrew is open to first-year students, returning students, and graduate students! If you’re a student, you can join UCrew.
- Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) are also invited to participate. This is an excellent way to talk to incoming students and their families about getting involved in student organizations, campus activities, and leadership opportunities!
What you get:
- Free meal
- Move-In Day T-shirt
- A chance to hang out and get a pic with Swoop!
