ようこそ!Welcome to the Japanese Culture Club! We meet every Monday (that the university is operating) at Tater Hill Room (155 in the Plemmons Student Union) from 5PM - 6PM.

We educate, encourage, and facilitate Japanese culture around the Appalachian State University and Boone communities. If you study Japanese, are interested in studying abroad in Japan, or just love Japanese culture, then feel free to join us! Through our club, you can experience things like taking a trip to DC, participating in our Cherry Blossom Festival, and getting to know other students who share common interests.

Because we will be taking trips and hosting other events, our club is great for exchange students who would not be able to have the same experiences otherwise. There is a semester-long leadership position in our executive board created with international students in mind. We can also provide help with things such as getting accustomed to ASU (which is also great for new students) and practicing English.
