你好 (Nǐ hǎo)!

We are a student run club founded on the desire to learn more about Chinese culture and spread understanding to the greater Appalachian Family.

We meet once a week on Thursdays at 5:15pm in Sanford Hall room 500. Our weekly meetings feature enjoyable activities that will help you learn more about Chinese language and/or culture, including guest speakers, presentations, arts and crafts, movies, and much more!

The mission of the Chinese Culture Club is to stimulate knowledge, promote awareness, and encourage the involvement of the Appalachian State University community in issues and concerns of the Chinese population both in Watauga County and in China.

We are always open to new members and curious individuals and we hope that anyone who is interested in Chinese culture and/or language will stop by sometime! No language or culture experience required!!

We hope to see you there!
