The Student Center is the hub of student activity at Georgia State University and a focal point for the social, recreational and cultural life of the diverse campus community. Comprised of two buildings, Student Center East and Student Center West, the center is home to many student services and opportunities for involvement and entertainment on campus.

A great place to hang out between classes, study and enjoy performances and events, the Student Center also offers food courts and vending services, the University Bookstore, a movie theater, TV lounges, an art gallery, a multimedia laboratory, ATM banking, student organization office space and meeting rooms. Discount tickets to local movie theaters, theme parks, athletics events and other entertainment in the metro area are available for purchase through the Information Center on the first floor of Student Center East, as well as online.

Student Employment
Many exciting opportunities for student employment are offered by the Student Center, which works with each student staff member to provide meaningful learning opportunities, career experience and leadership development. Information about open positions is available through Panther Career Net, Georgia State’s free online job and internship board. Programs and Services
More than just buildings, the Student Center encompasses three student-driven program areas that offer events and services to enhance your student life and education: Spotlight Programs Board, Student Government and Student Media. The Student Center is the venue for many of their events and activities, as well as those of the student organizations and services that make their home in the complex. The center also houses numerous other offices and programs that promote student growth and development, enhance academic success, assist with university services and foster involvement in the university community.
