WoMentorship Application 2017-2018
About the Program
The WoMentorship Program matches sophomore and junior undergraduate women with junior and senior women, and first-year Masters women with second-year Masters and PhD women. Mentor and mentees meet at least four times each semester and engage in social activities, academic opportunities, and career and professional development. Mentors and their mentees will be provided with on-campus and off-campus opportunities for interaction and/or can independently plan one on one meetings and activities that meet their mutual interests.
Roles and Responsibilities
Mentors are dynamic students who aid in the growth and progression of their mentees, academically and socially. Mentors also act as role models and lead by example, while serving as a link to student resources on both the Brooklyn and Washington Square campuses.
Mentees are students who are looking to further engage and learn from other women mentors within the Tandon community. Mentees sign up to receive the above benefits from mentors, while contributing to the development of these relationships and the overall success of growing a strong network of women in Engineering at Tandon.
Please submit your application by 11:45pm on Friday, September 8th.
