Welcome to  The Caribbean Student Organization !!!
We are a Class III organization of the SGA and have been a part of the Montclair State University community since 1992. After taking a short hiatus for a few semesters, CaribSO made its way back onto campus in the Fall of 2014. CaribSO has always been known to really bring in the Island flavor to the MSU community through educational, social, and cultural activities. We truly hope to continue on with that legacy and bring forth our Caribbean culture through future events that display the beautiful dances, various musical genres, and flavorful foods of the West Indies!

We strive to create a safe space for all students at Montclair State University as well as the West-Indian/Caribbean communities we serve. We aspire to educate others and ourselves on Caribbean Culture and make sure we are adhering to our school motto, "ITS ALL HERE" by providing academic, cultural, and social events to help bring cultural awareness to our university.

We are the Caribbean Student Organization of MSU, but we are better known as CaribSO! We encourage any and all students at Montclair State University who share this culture, or have a passion for the various cultures and traditions of the Caribbean to come to our meetings and be an active participant in our organization.

A successful participant of CaribSO may have learned a good deal about the histories, traditions, cultures and most importantly the current tribulations of the Caribbean.
