Serve. Lead. Inspire.
The Volunteer Center (VC) assists members in the Montclair State University community to create a lasting, productive and meaningful connection through community service.
The VC works directly with local area non-profits to identify their volunteer needs, hosts drives and on-campus events, and assists with on-campus volunteer projects organized by individual students or student groups.
Community Service Info Packet
For more detailed instructions, please download and review the Community Service Packet. Here you will find step-by-step guides on "How to Find and Schedule Community Service", "How to Record Community Service", and "How to Add Community Service to Your Co-Curricular Transcript", as well as sample completed Service Hour Log forms and explanation of what to expect when volunteering.
Volunteer Center Information Table
Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. stop by the Student Center Lobby. Receive informational resources on community service & upcoming events. Want to volunteer for the Information Table? All volunteers must complete a brief Volunteer Information Table workshop in order to volunteer.
Sign up to get our bi-weekly emails that summarize all upcoming events (on and off campus) as well as other news or drives that may be going on for those upcoming weeks.
Learn about how to find volunteer positions at local sites & about community service. RSVP on Hawk Sync under Events section or request a workshop here.
Volunteers: it is important that you submit your completed Service Hour Logs to Megan at the Volunteer Center for reporting purposes at the end of each month.
