Portal Information

Description

The Athenian Print is an online publication for student writers to communicate with their colleagues, to voice out their opinions on a variety of topics, and to report on the happenings of today on and off campus. The Athenian Print is also the first Journalism and New Media club at Mount Saint Mary's University. Our goal is to keep the study, the career, and the life of journalism alive. We are to here inform, entertain, and benefit the public, including our peers. Our organization thrives off of the creative and artistic realms of writing. The members of this organization are rather appreciative all things written and spoken, and are enthusiastic on what's to come.

In addition, the club will help students gain beneficial experience with a student-based blog available to the community here at Mount Saint Mary’s University while also building a body of work for post college careers. Lastly, the club will help bring awareness about the Journalism and New Media major to the community and what the future journalists coming from our college are capable of.
