Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. Bring water.

Garden Workdays consist of planting, harvesting produce, and maintaining the garden. Work will vary based on what time of the year it is and what needs to be done.

 

You are not required to stay the full duration of time. The workday may end before 8pm or may exceed longer based on the work that may have to be done.

This state-wide gathering of garden leaders and community green thumbs has never been held in Eastern NC before, so we want to show them the best of Greenville! The theme for this year's conference is Sustenance and Sustainability, highlighting topics such as beekeeping for sustainability of the earth and youth involvement for program sustainability.
