Study Abroad in Berlin!

Mar 8, 2017 by Amanda Kister

Semester in Berlin Info Session
Thursday, March 9th
3:00pm - 4:00pm
Student Commons 3216
Berlin is at the forefront of tackling some of the most pressing challenges of our time such as global climate change and the displacement of people worldwide.
In this program, students take two seminars on global environmental destruction and the European refugee crisis. Students also intern with a German organization that addresses either one of these challenges. Our local partner in Berlin is the world renowned Ecologic Institute, an environmental think tank. The program also includes an intensive German class at the beginning of their time in Berlin.
Students will also explore Europe! Past trips included weekend-long visits to Copenhagen, Amsterdam,
and Dessau.
