The Islander Leadership Seminar Series is designed to provide you with an opportunity to explore leadership with a small group of your peers and apply what you learn to your life experiences. Students will examine the history and evolution of leadership; will learn about personal strengths and preferences and how to work with others, will learn about important components of effective leadership, and will identify strategies for creating positive change. Participants will attend seminar every Thursday or Friday from Feb. 1 thru March 23 from 3-5pm. Class will not be held on March 8/9 and 15/16 due to Spring Break.

Interested individuals must be available to meet at this time in order to participate. Late arrivals or early departures will disqualify a student from participating.
The Islander Leadership Seminar is a 6-8 week mini course designed to enhance the abilities of student leaders. This seminar is open to all students. Any student wishing to become an RA for either Miramar or Momentum Village must complete the seminar. It is offered in the fall and spring semesters.
