Apply to LeaderShape!

Feb 17, 2016 by Christine M Wertz

Want to make a difference in your community, in Baltimore, in the world? Apply to be a part of Baltimore Collegetown LeaderShape Class 7 today!

LeaderShape is a national program encouraging and developing student leaders as they create a vision for a better world. Baltimore Collegetown's adaptation of the program is uniquely Baltimore-centric, focusing on the issues that Baltimoreans face right at home. LeaderShape selects several students from colleges and universities across the Baltimore area, including Towson, Coppin, Morgan, UMBC, Goucher, UB, and many more.

Collegetown's program is a year long and includes a week-long retreat in August, two day-long retreats (one in fall and one in spring), a group project, and an individual project. For more info and to apply, please visit http://baltimorecollegetown.org/collegetown-leadershape/

Want to know more about how past UB students have experienced LeaderShape? Check out our UB Visions blog, run by current members of LeaderShape Class 6! You can also email Christine Wertz (christine.wertz@ubalt.edu), a former member of Class 5, or Anthony Butler (abutler@ubalt.edu), former member of Class 2 and UB's campus liaison for the LeaderShape program.
