Have you been looking for a way to get involved with the Office of Multicultural Affairs? We have some opportunities right now for you to volunteer, have your organization/department be more visible, and be a part of planning signature events for the university.
- Are you a student interested in being a part of planning signature events, networking with people here at USF, and educating people about Black History, culture, and heritage? APPLY TO BE ON THE BLACK HERITAGE MONTH PLANNING COMMITTEE. Deadline to apply is Nov. 19.
- International Festival (iFest) is coming up, the largest cultural and global festival USF offers. There are opportunities to volunteer, walk in the Parade of Flags (similar to the Parade of Flags in the opening of the Olympics), and your organization/department to table. Learn more about iFest by visiting the website. Deadlines approaching as soon as Nov. 1ST for all these opportunities.
- Do you want your organization or department to be featured on a campus-wide calendar for a program or event? We have 2 opportunities where your department or organization can create a program and submit the event for Black Heritage Month at USF (taking place in February) and MLK Commemorative Week (taking place Jan.18-25) . Deadlines to submit programs for both these time periods are in November.
