Writing Workshop for Women of Color & Allies
Do you have a story to tell? Are you interested in exploring your creative voice? Join us for this special writing workshop!
Art2Action and Kitchen Table Literary Arts are proud to offer this special Writing Workshop, co-presented by the USF School of Theatre and Dance. Whether you're a writer, or just want to explore your creative voice, we invite you to share your story! All genres welcome! Co-facilitated by Andrea Assafand Sheree L Greer.
For those who are interested, there will be an opportunity to contribute your writings toward an original performance piece, "Breaking the Wall of Silence - Voices of Resilience" in collaboration with USF Dance. Poet/Co-Facilitator Andrea Assaf will weave contributed writings into a collective text that will be choreographed by Jeanne Travers, recorded by actors under the direction ofDora Arreola, and performed as part of the Spring Dance Concert.
NOTE: Art2Action events are always LGBTQ2 inclusive. If you were assigned 'female' at birth, or if you're currently woman-identified, you're all welcome to attend! People of all abilities welcome!
