Each year, Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of those who ancestors came from Spain, Latin America and the Caribbean. This year's Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration will be held on Thursday, October 5th from 12:00pm-1:30pm in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom, organized by the Status of Latinos (SoL) Presidential Committee and campus/community partners. Complementing the event, there will be a student organization and department showcase that will educate attendees about Hispanic history and culture.
