Putting PASSION into ACTION.

Clubs and organizations are an important part of the Appalachian experience. Part of the mission of ASU is to help students develop skills so they will become good citizens and strong contributors in the communities they join. Appalachian State University boasts 400+ student clubs and organizations. There are many benefits to getting involved on campus:

Develop Valuable Leadership Skills
Assume a leadership position in an organization and learn lifelong skills such as effective communication, teamwork, goal setting, and more

Form Lifelong Friendships
Meet other students with common interests through various clubs and organizations and make memories that you will treasure long after graduation.

Explore your Passions
The involvement opportunities are endless!  With hundreds of student organizations, there is a club that is right for you.  And if not, you can start your own.

Establish Relationships with Faculty & Staff
Each student organization is advised by a full-time faculty or staff member here on campus, so get to know your professors more personally outside the classroom.
