Manhattan High School East Campus - 901 Poyntz AveMap Location

Every year Alpha Xi Delta hosts an AmaXing Challenge called Xi Man to benefit Autism Speaks.  It is a male talent competition consisting of three categories: formal wear, talent, and interviews.  Competitors are assigned two coaches to assist and support throughout the preparation stage and the event itself.

During the week of the competition, there will be a penny war, a children’s book drive, and a t-shirt contest, to see who can sell the most t-shirts to represent their house. All the competitions are worth points to help you earn the title of Xi Man!

What this entails is simply:

  • Meeting with your coach/contestant
  • Find/practice a talent
  • Write an introduction
  • Taking a picture with your coach/contestant for social media (can be cute, funny, normal, serious, or whatever you heart desires)
  • Participating in daily challenges (Penny war, Catch A Xi, and Twitter War)
  • Attending the event (coaches/contestants will get free admission)

Winning coaches/contestants will be awarded t-shirts, gift cards, and free admission into all Alpha Xi Delta Philanthropy events during their reign, and the title of Xi Man 2015.

The event will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23rd at Manhattan High School East Campus and admittance will be $5 or a Xi Man 2015 t-shirt.

Anyone interested should fill out the packet and return it to Mohri Exline at Alpha Xi Delta by 5 p.m. Friday April 3rd.
