Mar 9, 2016 by Laura T Smith
We invite you to consider applying for the UTD Discipline Committee. We believe that the Discipline Committee is an excellent way for students to make an impact on campus! While serving on the committee, you will learn about the campus discipline system and have an opportunity to develop both your leadership and communication skills.
The Discipline Committee is a volunteer committee comprised of both faculty and students. Its purpose is to resolve discipline and academic cases referred to the Office of Community Standards and Conduct. Student participation on the committee fills an important role in maintaining integrity and civility on campus.
To apply to be a member of the Discipline Committee, you must submit a completed application before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Applications are available on Org Sync: https://orgsync.com/8452/forms/171484. Hard copies are also available in the Office of Community Standards and Conduct, SSB 4.400.
The application process includes completing the application form, submitting an essay reflecting on accountability and scheduling an interview time. Failure to submit any portion of the application or to honor your appointment will void your application.
