The Florida Tech Baseball Club is a student organization with the purpose of allowing students to play baseball competitively during college while still being afforded the time to focus on academics and other aspects of their college experience that the demands of a varsity sport might not allow. The club is a member of the National Club Baseball Association, playing club teams from the University of Florida, Florida State, the University of Central Florida, the University of Miami, and Florida International University in the South Atlantic South Conference for a chance to advance on to national postseason play. The team also participates in the Brevard County Baseball League, a local amateur wood bat league. The team usually meets a few times a week, between practices and games, depending on the time of the semester and the season schedule.

Anyone interested in joining should fill out a Prospective Players form on the website. The team is for Florida Tech students who played at the high school level, with a try-out held at the beginning of each semester for prospective players. There is also a fee associated with membership which covers NCBA and BCBL dues, as well as uniforms.
