Western Sydney University Tennis Club make the Play-Offs!

This Sunday members of the Western Sydney University Tennis Club will be competing against other tennis associations in this year's STL Inter-district Competition play-offs.
Inter-district is one of the oldest tennis competitions in Australia, with the first competition between the Metropolitan District Tennis Associations being conducted in 1921 for Open Men's and Ladies.To name a few, household name players such as Ken Rosewall, John Alexander and Evonne Goolagong have represented their associations in the past.
Members of the Brenan Park 2 (WSU) team, Nathan Gardiner, Kadjann Arulnesan and Corey Cordova will be competing in the division 3 final of the Blackwell Cup against Bulli. Members of the Brenan Park 1 (WSU) team, Evan Ward and Anthony Wasson, will be competing in the division 1 semi final of the Blackwell Cup against Eastern Suburbs.
Matches start at exactly 12.15pm at Stanhope Gardens Leisure Centre (Blacktown), CNR Stanhope Parkway & Sentry Drive Stanhope Gardens. There are grandstands for spectators as well as food facilities on site.
