Western Sydney University student, Brady Goodyear is currently taking the world stage, representing Australia at the 2015 Hong Kong ASTC Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup, only a few weeks after receiving his professional triathlete license.
The nineteen year old will be competing in Hong Kong, then in the Hamilton Island Fujifilm Triathlon and just one week later in the Asian Cup in (Sumatra) Indonesia.
“I’m feeling really excited but also nervous about the races. It’s the first time I’ll be competing in the international arena. Although, I am really looking forward to competing overseas and ticking of this milestone” Goodyear said.
The Business and Commerce student said this has been a goal of his and his coaches for the last four years. “The training has paid off and I’ve finally achieved the goal we set”.
Goodyear will be competing against nations including Singapore, Estonia and Israel in his international conquest.
