Match Report - Western Sydney v Macquarie University

Over the weekend Western Sydney University took on Macquarie University in an exhibition Rugby 7’s match as a curtain raiser for the NRC game between Greater Sydney Rams and the Sydney Rays. Western Sydney University is celebrating after two elite athletes claimed exceptional results in international competitions recently.   The University Games is the biggest sporting event that a student can get involved with and is also the best experience you can have while studying and it's not too late to get involved for this years events. Outstanding Results for our Student Athletes at the Men’s National Netball Championships!

Western Sydney University Elite Athletes have secured outstanding results at the National Men's and Mixed Netball Championships on the Gold Coast last week. Sam Glazebrook & Luke Sproats were part of the 3rd placed Under 23’s NSW Men’s team, whilst Steven Brice and Josh Bain were valiant runners up in the Under 20’s NSW Men’s team. The internship works with Game Development Staff who deliver programs to school children.  It is ideal for students who are keen to get a foot in the door of the sports industry at the grassroots level in a world where sports jobs are scarce.
