Learn to Swim Pilot program

For the past 3 weeks the sport services team has been facilitating a pilot Learn to Swim program at Ripples Leisure Centre, St Mary’s targeting International students. The idea for such a program came about after a joint Chaplaincy and MATES excursion to Kiama in late 2018, wherein students felt apprehensive about entering the water due to their lack of confidence and basic swimming and water safety skills.
