Aug 18, 2017 by Yasmine Lewis

Our university is one of the most diverse in the world.
And we're proud of that.

Each year Diversity Fest celebrates Western Sydney University's incredible diversity across many dimensions including culture, gender, physical and mental abilities, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political beliefs, religious practices and socio-economic status. The underlying theme for this year's event is Women of Diversity and will hold main events on the following dates:

6 Sep - 100 George St, Parramatta City
20 Sep - 1PSQ, Parramatta City
25 Sep - Kingswood

26 Sep - Campbelltown
27 Sep - Hawkesbury
28 Sep - Bankstown (+ Campus Life Open Air Cinema in evening)
4 Oct - Parramatta South (+ Bankstown Poetry Slam feat. Okenyo in evening).
23 Oct - Nirimba

Each day event will feature live art, performances, stalls, free food and more. Day events will also feature an OPEN-MIC slot where students are encouraged to perform (with prizes to be won!). A DiversARTy exhibition created by students and staff will also feature on various campuses in the lead up to the event.
