Children's Friend 5K Walk/Run Event

Children's Friend has served and nurtured many Rhode Island youth to help them grow up with safe, healthy lives--your involvement and support will make a great impact!  The organization has invite RISD students to help create a running team composed of 10-12 individuals, a walking team with 10-12 individuals, and 2-3 general event volunteers. These numbers are the minimum amount so the more, the merrier! 

We will meet at 8:30AM on the RISD Beach to make it to the 9:00AM...

Volunteer at MLK Day of Service!

Join us on January 16 for MLK Day of Service, one of our biggest events of the year! Volunteer to run art workshops, activities, and games with local children and families at two sites in Providence- Dorcas International Institute of RI and MLK Elementary School. Shifts run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and food, transportation, and t-shirts will be provided. Contact communityservice@risd.edu or stop by Carr House 201 with any questions.
