Campus Kitchen Nutrition Outreach (CKNO) is a student-led program under Campus Kitchen at ECU that provides healthy living lessons to children in the Greenville community.

The CKNO Mission
is to provide effective nutrition education and promote healthy behaviors through educational lessons and activities, reinforcing the learned material to implement a positive vision community.

Incorporating the Campus Kitchen national mission into our work, we use service and student leadership as a tool to:

Strengthen Bodies by using existing resources to meet hunger and nutritional needs in our community;

Empower Minds by providing leadership and service-learning opportunities to students, and educational benefits to adults, seniors, children and families in need; and

Build Communities by fostering a new generation of community-minded adults through resourceful and mutually beneficial partnerships among students, social service agencies, businesses and schools.
