2018 NYU Service Project Outreach Participant Application
Thank you for your interest in the 2018 NYU Service Project OutReach Program!
Project OutReach brings together service-minded incoming first year students, transfer students, and Peer Mentors to learn about and perform service throughout New York City, reflect on their experiences, and to participate in ethical leadership development.
Sponsored by NYU Service in the Center for Student Life (CSL), Project OutReach is a week-long intensive program held the week prior to the University’s Welcome Week—giving OutReachers a head-start in New York—and continues with events held throughout the year in concert with NYU Service’s other programs.
Project OutReach 2018 will operate from Tuesday August 21, 2018 to Saturday August 25, 2018
Deadline to apply: Friday, June 15, 2018, 11:45 PM EST
Participants must pay a non-refundable program fee of $150 after being accepted. This fee will cover expenses associated with the program. You will receive more information about how to make your payment in your acceptance e-mail. We have a limited number of scholarships that cover the cost of the program for students who need financial assistance. The cost should not prohibit anyone from participating in this program. We encourage everyone to apply to Project OutReach.
Project OutReach is limited to 100 new students and the selection process is highly competitive. If you are selected, you MUST arrive on campus, move in, and be ready to begin Project OutReach activities on Tuesday, August 21st by 2:00PM. All Project OutReach 2018 applicants will be notified of their status via e-mail by July 1st, 2018. Please email email@example.com with any questions, comments or concerns.
