On Friday from 11:00 AM until noon, in the Grand Theatre, there is a FREE Songwriters Workshop.

This is an opportunity for students and those interested in learning about the process of songwriting to hear the stories behind the songs, and learn about the business of music and how songwriters are compensated for their works.

You will hear first-hand from professional songwriters how they get their songs recorded by major artists and the role that a publisher plays in their careers. The art of songwriting is a special and unique ability and this is your chance to meet three talented and successful artists who make a living writing music.
