What is a personal statement?

Þ Every law school candidate has something of interest to present. Law schools want to recruit people who are qualified for reasons beyond grades and scores. The personal statement in your application is the place to tell the committee about yourself.

I have classes at 4pm- 8pm hour. Can't make either. Fridays and weekends are ok for me.

Is their a possibility of starting to have something at or after 6 this is still business hours and makes it hard for working students to attend necessary events.

One Main Event

The One Main Event is a banquet for members of student organizations. It will also be Friday, April 14 at Hotel Zaza at 6PM. You can enjoy a 3-course meal, drinks from the bar, a photo booth, and a DJ. It is a FREE event. The theme is the Great Gatsby, so please dress your best. The last day to register is Wednesday, April 12.

Due to logistical constraints, we have been forced to cancel the UT law school visit on November 20th. The office of employment services and operations has confirmed that students are not allowed to use the university vehicles. We also had other complications. 3rd General Assembly

The Pre-Law Association will be holding its 3rd General Assembly this upcoming week. As usual we will have two dates for which you could attend this General Assembly in order to accommodate different schedules. PLA will have a General Assembly on Tuesday November 10, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in room N420. If unable to attend, we will have another General Assembly the following day on Wednesday November 11, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. in room N420.
