Interfaith Works serves those in poverty in a truly unique way! This nonsectarian coalition engages over 165 affiliated faith communities in Montgomery County to identify and meet the needs of their clients. Not only can community members find assistance with healthcare, homelessness case management, and support in times of emergency, but they can also find clothing, school supplies, baby necessities, and home goods free of charge.

Students will support the Interfaith Clothing Center for low-income families by sorting and stocking donations in the store. Students should wear closed-toed shoes and clothing with "family friendly" messages. Volunteers should also dress in layers for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle.

TerpService Days are one-time days of service targeted at the broad campus community. Students with significant or no experience in service-learning are welcome to participate. Student groups also enjoy participating in the service days.
