The Boston College Global Migration Conference will provide a forum to explore the synergy between law and social work research, policy, and practice in the area of global migration.

Presentations and roundtable discussions featuring academics, legal and social work practitioners, and policy makers will examine policies, programs, and practices related to immigration in the current geopolitical climate, and consider social, legal, and policy solutions.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Breakfast Speaker: Thomas H. Smolich, S.J.International Director, Jesuit Refugee Service

The conference will be of particular interest to those who work with immigrants, refugees, detainees, and their families.
