'PatCon 6' will bring over 60 scholars and patent experts from across the U.S. and five foreign countries to Boston College Law School on April 8-9, 2016.

In addition to academic presentations, the patent conference will feature an expert panel on the still relatively new Inter Partes Review and Post Grant Review patent validity challenge procedures within the Patent Office. The conference will also feature a Friday evening 5:30 pm keynote address from Commissioner F. Scott Kieff of the United States International Trade Commission.

PatCon is a cooperative effort between Boston College Law School (Professor David Olson), Northwestern University School of Law (Professor David Schwartz), the University of San Diego School of Law (Professor Ted Sichelman), and the University of Kansas School of Law (Professor Andrew Torrance). The group holds an annual conference where patent scholars in law, economics, management science, and other disciplines share their research.

The conference will take place in the Law School's East Wing building. Those interested in registering to attend the conference should email Professor David Olson
