[iMBA-iMSA-PMBA Career Development Series] Successful Interview Strategies
We wrap up the Spring 2019 Career Development Series by pulling together different aspects of career management that we’ve discussed throughout the semester—having a career focus, personal branding, and storytelling—into an important part of the hiring process: interviewing. In this final webcast for the semester, Jerome interviews Jenny on the qualities of job candidates that employers look for during the interview process.
Jenny Rae graduated from the University of Virginia and joined Bain after traveling around the world, writing a book, working on financial public policy in South Africa and sailing across the Atlantic Ocean. In short, she has done everything we all wish we could do, but never get around to :) Since leaving Bain to co-found a tech company, she has advised over 45 different early- and mid-phase companies around the world, retired twice, and built up a real estate portfolio. Jenny Rae obtained her MBA from Columbia Business School, authored or co-authored all of the books on the Management Consulted site, and oversees the team at Management Consulted.
This webcast is part of a new career development series for students in the iMBA, iMSA and PMBA programs. In each webcast, Jerome Ng, Career Consultant and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach with Career Services at the Gies College of Business, interviews a guest around a career management topic. Each interview will highlight factors job seekers need to pay attention to when executing their job search.
Each session will be broadcast live via Zoom. Participants are encouraged to ask questions during each live webcast. All interviews will be recorded. Please RSVP to receive access to the recorded webinar.
