Minor Guest Registration
Any resident wishing to host a minor in a Residential Hall must complete this form at least 2 business days in advance.
Minors are defined as individuals under 18 years of age.
All minor guests must be siblings of the host and must check out by 10pm unless registered and approved as an overnight guest. Only siblings over 5 years of age will be permitted to stay past 10pm with the approval of an overnight stay.
STEP 1: Requests for minor hosting privileges must be submitted at least 2 business days prior to the desired hosting days (day and overnight guests).
STEP 2: Upon receiving the request, the Community Director will contact the minor's guardian to obtain approval for their visit.
STEP 3: If given approval from the guardian, the Community Director will send an email confirmation to the requesting student host.
STEP 4: The Community Director will create a unique Minor Identification Card for the individual being hosted which will be stored at the front desk prior to the guest's arrival.
STEP 5: The guest and host arrive at the front desk to check in with residence hall staff.
- The guest should check in and out each time they enter and exit the building.
- They should be escorted by their host, who is responsible for their behavior, at all times.
- All minor guests should be checked out by 10pm unless they are pre-registered as overnight guests. Failure to do so will result in documentation.
