Magis Emerging Leadership Program Mentor Application 2014
Are you interested in continuing your journey through magis? Become a Magis Mentor! The Magis Emerging Leadership Program aims to cultivate leaders by helping students develop a knowledge of self, others, and community. As part of the Magis Emerging Leadership Program, first-year students will explore their personal leadership style and find congruence with behavior and values through a weekend retreat and a pre- and post-retreat meeting.
Magis Mentors act as role models and guide Magis participants through their individual and group leadership process. Each Magis Mentor will be assigned a group of 8-10 Magis participants and lead these participants through small group discussions and activities at the meetings (pre and post retreat) as well as throughout the retreat. To serve as a mentor you must have participated in the Magis Emerging Leadership Program.
There are 3 positions available. Applications open Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014. Please review the dates and information below and complete the application by 5pm on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014.
