Welcome to Pirate Playtime! We are a student-led organization that goes to various after-school locations to play games and provide a safe place to play for children. We meet on Fridays at 3 in the volunteer and service learning center building and carpool together to our destination for that day! We usually arrive back to the volunteer center between 5:30 and 6 giving volunteers 3 volunteer hours. Pirate Playtime is a very rewarding experience and you really make a difference for the children that we play with. They look forward to Pirate Playtime coming and are very excited when we arrive! If you like playing with kids, we would love to have you! If you are interested in Pirate Playtime, please join our OrgSync portal to get started! If you have any questions, contact Yani Roddey at email@example.com. We look forward to having you as a volunteer for Pirate Playtime!
The Mentoring Branch of Pirate P.A.L.S.is an initiative that places volunteers at various after school programs in the Greenville Community to facilitate games and activities for children in attendance to encourage good behavior and to teach skill by being a positive role model.
This portion of mentoring of the mentoring branch is an opportunity for volunteers to get up and active by facilitating games for local youth. Pirate Playtime runs the 1st and 3rd Friday afternoon each month from 3pm until 6pm. No application is required but you must sign up for Open Play by the Thursday before.
