ECU Pirates P.A.L.S. make it a mission to serve children of Greenville by being tutors and mentors and reading buddies that educate, invest in, and inspire future generations of leaders.
The vision of this program is to increase the academic skills and performance of elementary students within Greenville and the surrounding area.
A student-led organization that goes to the same after-school location in the Greenville Community weekly to facilitate games and activities for children in attendance to encourage good behavior and to teach skill by being a positive role model. This is a semester long, 2 hour a week commitment. To be a mentor apply below!
A student-led organization that goes to various after-school locations to play games and provide a safe place to play for children. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month to play with youth. Pirate Playtime is a very rewarding experience that makes difference for the youth we interact with. If you have a passion for youth, we would love to have you! No application needed, just sign up below!

The Mentoring Branch of Pirate P.A.L.S.is an initiative that places volunteers at various after school programs in the Greenville Community to facilitate games and activities for children in attendance to encourage good behavior and to teach skill by being a positive role model.
This portion of mentoring of the mentoring branch is an opportunity for volunteers to get up and active by facilitating games for local youth. Pirate Playtime runs the 1st and 3rd Friday afternoon each month from 3pm until 6pm. No application is required but you must sign up for Open Play by the Thursday before.
