Welcome to Pirate P.A.L.S.!
peers advocating for learning success
who we are
Pirate P.A.L.S. is a youth-service program through the Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement (CLCE) that connects ECU students with youth in Greenville.
Our mission to serve children of Greenville by being tutors, mentors, and reading buddies that educate, invest in and inspire future generations of leaders.
As a Pirate PALS volunteer, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with youth through programs that allow you to mentor through tutoring, reading buddies, Pirate Playtimes and Design for Change Mentor League.
Our volunteer opportunities aim to go beyond one-time service, so we require our Pirate P.A.L.S. to commit to serving our community partners for the full semester.
