The Student Government Board of Kutztown University, member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, is comprised of dedicated students elected to represent and advocate for the students of the university.
As Elected Representatives, the board members consider the diverse perspective of its constituents and serve as the student's primary liaison to the University Leadership. The board achieves this by actively representing individual student and group concerns within the University governance structures, thereby contributing to the overall quality of experience at Kutztown University.
The Board is organized to provide oversight for the responsible use of student resources and to encourage open communication with campus and community constitutions while providing learning opportunities by inviting broad participation and communicating student's voices through sub-committee and weekly general board meetings.
The chief governing body of the SGA, which is comprised of every student who has paid the student activity fee. SGB's main functions are to represent student opinion and oversee the administration of the student activity fee.
