For those of you who are Broncos fans, congratulations on a wonderful Superbowl win! WOO! The Office of Student Activities, as well as Residence Life and Housing, are proud to announce that tickets are NOW ON SALE for the 2016 UCCS Significant Speaker event, featuring Dr. Bennet Omalu, the renowned doctor who discovered Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) in nine deceased National Football League (NFL) players. Dr. Omalu is also the real life character portrayed by Will Smtih in this winter’s box office hit Concussion. He will be speaking on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in the Gallogly Events Center.
Early bird advanced tickets sales will begin TODAY (Monday, February 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the University Center Information Desk). Tickets will be $2 for all UCCS students, UCCS faculty/staff and Military. Tickets for non-UCCS individuals and community members will be $5. Ticket prices will increase once April arrives, so purchase your tickets TODAY!!!
