Talk About It: A Storytelling Contest

The Kraemer Family Storytelling Contest is an open event for anyone to come and tell an original intergenerational story. Intergeneration means having to do with one or more generations, so we want to hear about your family or the people who have impacted you.
This is a judged competition that has awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as determine by a panel of 3 judges.
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $300
- 3rd Place: $100
You do not have to be affiliated with UCCS in order to participate in this storytelling contest. This is a free event for anyone in the community to attend, so anyone may come watch the contest.
Stories should be 5-8 minutes in length.
Stories must have an intergenerational theme.
Stories should be appropriate for a university audience.
Stories must be original works.
Storytellers must give permission for their story to be recorded and archived within the UCCS University Archives. The Kraemer Family Library will retain a video copy of the event for check out as well.
When and Where
You must be present to enter. The contest will take place Friday, September 25th, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Clyde's in the UCCS University Center.

Space is limited. Sign up will be closed once all time slots have been filled.
