Proceeds benefit Hair Peace Charities. This is a timed, 5K (3.1 mile) event that will take place at the Tanger Outlet Center.
The first 600 registered participants will receive a race pack which includes a commemorative race t-shirt, medal, Tanger shopping discounts and other goodies. The Cal U Cupboard is hosting a food drive for the students and faculty on campus!
Food can be delivered for personal donations to the Center for Volunteer Programs and Service Learning in the Natali Student Center (Room 119). Other donations can be delivered to your department office.
Please ensure that your name is on your donations in order to receive credit for this event.

Career Services is hosting an on-campus job fair – Tuesday, October 6th in the Convocation Center. Volunteers are needed for one-hour shifts. Below are the responsibilities they need assistance with:
Employer unloading – assist employers with unloading their cars (outside of the convocation center) and carrying their materials into the Convocation Center arena.
New and current students help your fellow students move-in to their residence hall rooms. Service hours will be added to your Activities Transcript via the Involvement link on OrgSync.

CalU will host the 10th annual BotsIQ high school competition April 24 and 25 at the CalU convocation center. This is the combat robot event where the teams engage their robots is a gladiator style double elimination tournament. Help is need on Thursday, April 23 to build the combat arenas as well as many other positions and tasks on 24th and 25th.

During this event, students will be making giving tree ornaments for "Hope for the Holidays". These ornaments will be used by local churches to purchase Christmas gifts for local elementary and middle school children.
The Student Honors Activity Board will be hosting this service event for Honors Program Students. Students will be making cards for Operation Gratitude. These cards will be sent to members of the military that are currently serving and/or deployed. Refreshments will be provided! Come help us make cards while meeting members of the Honors Program!
