Flu Vaccine Clinic

Flu season is here, so the Student Health Center is hosting their annual Flu Shot Clinic, October 9 & 15 outside on the Dining Hall Lawn. 

Flu vaccines are $20 for students and $30 for faculty and staff. Charges will be posted to your account - no payments will be accepted at the Clinic. Charges for students with Academic Health Plan insurance will be filed with AHP.

Free snacks will be available to those who get their flu shot.

Floodwater Health Information from the SHC

Contaminated floodwaters can be dangerous, exposing people to various types of bacterial and fungal infections. Soft tissue infections can enter the skin through open cuts and wounds.

Floating debris found in floodwaters can cause puncture wounds and openings in the skin. Illnesses like Vibrio, gastrointestinal infection, and skin rashes may occur. Do not play in floodwaters! It's important to protect yourself.

Students, faculty, and staff will be able to meet campus and community resources as well as view speakers, skits, and survivor stories.

Lose Smart Weight Loss Competition 2019
